Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the BIPOC Kink Directory?
KASF's BIPOC Kink Directory is a resource project meant to promote and support BIPOC and POC kinksters and their businesses. There is a lack of BIPOC and POC representation in the kink and alternative communities, and this resources intends to close such gaps by providing an easy to use database of POC and BIPOC professionals.
How does it work?
The BIPOC Kink Directory works by Google Form, which allows BIPOC and POC members of the adult, kink, and alternative communities to apply. After applying, their professional, business, and organizational information will be compiled and posted on this page. The directory application form is available here!
Who can apply for the BI/POC Kink Directory?
Anyone who identifies as a "kinky" black, indigenous, or otherwise person of color (POC). White and/or Caucasian applicants will be denied. Such persons already have adequate representations in their communities, and KASFOrg strives to serve marginalized communities. Also, for clarification, "kinky" for the purpose of this form means that someone is a member or participant of BDSM, kink, or alternative adult-focused communities. If you believe you qualify, and you'd like to apply, please fill out the application link: here!
When will the BIPOC Kink Directory be available?
As of August 2020, the directory is now viewable on Desktop click here! Mobile versions are not currently supported.
What can I do to help this project?
So glad that you asked!
It would be very helpful if you could "like" and "follow" the KASFOrg Instagram page.
Share the posts geared toward recruiting BIPOCs and POCs to apply for the BIPOC Kink Directory. A lot of the work that needs to be done requires BIPOC and POC professionals to be aware of the project we are doing. The directory will not be possible unless professionals feel compelled to take this free promotional opportunity with us!
Another more direct way you can support this project is to share this webpage or the BIPOC Kink Directory advertisements directly to the kinky BIPOC and POC professionals that you know so they can apply.
If I have questions about this project, or I want to get more involved, who can I contact?
Please email KASFOrg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
